A. carlablackiae 'Opeya'

I feel like the amount of photos uploaded to this page shows how much I love this carlablackiae! Since she was very young, she has exhibited almost black foliage. On some of my other specimens, this trait has first started to come through as they reached cataphyl. Furthermore she has the most beautiful almost electric pink veins! When she was younger, she was more elongated but has since grown into a stunning round specimen with some waviness to the edges of her leaves. She's simply to die for – and such an easy grower too!

In regard to provenance, she is bred by no one other than Scott Cohen. She is a cross between his amazing ‘OG1’ and ‘OG2’. From the photos I've seen she took the best from both parents – the incredible pink veins from ‘OG2’ and the round shape from ‘OG1’ mixed into a spectacular specimen. I absolutely love her!
