A clone of the amazing sp. nov. 'DF' which is often referred to as the holy grail of anthuriums. It was on my wishlist for years and now I'm excited to finally be able to offer a clone for sale! If you didn't know sp. nov. means species nova which translates to "new species", ie. an undescribed species, while 'DF' is short for Dewy Fisk who collected it from the wild. He unfortunately died in 2019 and only very limited information was handed down from Dewey Fisk due to lack of documentation. This specific plant was in Jay Vannini's private collection for around 20 years until it finally was released. I have seen specimens that doesn't exhibit the highly sought after wide sinus – and that may be because Jay Vannini successfully self pollinated his mother plant and thus those plants isn't the OG clone. The plant offered here is the OG clone that traces back to Jay Vannini and is a clone of the plant collected from the wild by Dewey Fisk. It shows the amazing triangular shape with very velvet and almost black leaves which makes this plant so desirable for collectors all around the world.
